Before you buy: the recipient checklist

Nine things to confirm with the recipient, or with the operator, before you pay. Tick them off; nothing is saved. Terms read Oct 30, 2026.

• Location. Is there a track the recipient can reach? Exotics Racing (SPEED VEGAS, Exotics Racing (SPEED VEGAS) gift certificates) and Dream Racing (Dream Racing home page FAQ) are in Las Vegas. Racing Adventures and Xtreme Xperience list several U.S. locations; check the list for your recipient's region.
• Age. Drivers need to be 18+ at Xtreme Xperience (requirements), Racing Adventures (Racing Adventures) and Exotics Racing (Exotics Racing (SPEED VEGAS) gift certificates). Dream Racing lists 16+, with a parent or guardian signing the waiver for anyone under 18 (FAQ).
• Licence. Xtreme Xperience needs a physical, valid, unexpired licence at check-in. It does not accept photos or digital copies, learner's or restricted permits, or suspended licences (Xtreme Xperience driving requirements (updated Mar 24, 2026)). Missing it forfeits the session without a refund, per the same page.
• Height. At Xtreme Xperience, the listed maximum heights run from 6 ft 3 in (Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4) to 6 ft 7 in (Nissan GT-R Premium), and a helmet adds about 2 inches (FAQ). It says refunds are not given if you are too tall.
• Weight. Xtreme Xperience lists a 350 lb limit for all of its supercars (Xtreme Xperience gift page).
• Language. Xtreme Xperience says a driver needs to know English to follow the in-car instructor's hand signals; it suggests a ride-along otherwise (Xtreme Xperience gift page).
• Damage plan. Ask whether the plan is in the price. Xtreme Xperience: not included, from $49, mandatory for drives (Xtreme Xperience gift page). Racing Adventures: base level included (Racing Adventures). Dream Racing: insurance included (Dream Racing home page FAQ).
• Dates. Racing Adventures says it will reschedule without penalty up to one month before the event (Racing Adventures). Xtreme Xperience allows bookings to be transferred to another person before the event (Xtreme Xperience refund policy (updated Mar 24, 2026)).
• Expiry. Write the last-use date on the card. Use the expiry tool.
